Yes, I finally posted today, July is birthday month from quite a few people in my family. Today was my Mom's Birthday, so of course cake was needed. From the cookbook "simple cake" we made a Very Vanilla Cake witch was very light and fluffy, we made two layers of this cake, after baking for 35 minutes, we ventured out to a store and got, 1 bag of Smarties and 1 box of Good and Plenty, we mixed heavy cream and powdered sugar until we got a thick but drippy glaze. We did a quick layer of it between the two layers of cake and let the rest drip from the top, Yum! To top the cake we used the candy and some fresh cut flowers from our garden (witch were not edible but pretty).
